This is a watercolor coloring book with the theme of ocean life. It has a wide range of ocean animals that are included for one to paint. And every single page has its own paint along video tutorial for free. The animals in this book are - sea turtle, mandarin fish, clown fish, lion fish, orcas, rainbow shrimp, red octopus, sword fish, manatee, and a beluga whale.
The paper used for this book is 140lbs, cold pressed, watercolor paper. It's a very nice and thick stock therefore any paint, pencil, ink, or marker will work just fine. However the paint along video tutorials are made specifically for watercolor painting.
These are rated for 6 years and up, just because of the complexity of the images. However younger kids can certainly enjoy them too, but they usually are more "abstract" with their paintings. Which is totally fine.
Since there's 10 images in the book it can also be used to easily put on a painting party.
