This sketch was several years back when I was working on getting more comfortable with being loose in my paintings. To this day I am simply fascinated with hos watercolor can look so chaotic and coherent at the same time. Kids in particular are fun to paint because there's usually a lot of wonder and energy in their expression. And more often than not there's over exaggerated emotion ( whether good or bad ).
